PAW Calendar Cat of the Month, Cammie
Cammie is a very sweet, but also very shy girl. Her human dad has considered putting her in the calendar for a few years but was worried about how she’d react to having her photograph taken. This year we took the plunge, and Cammie did great! Cammie was a little annoyed that I was in her home and refused to make eye contact with me, but I appreciate that this sweet girl let me be in her presence. After a few escape attempts, she decided she didn’t need to run and hide and was adorable on her perch looking outside.
About this project: In the summer of 2018 I had the honour of photographing 12 adorable cats who once belonged to the Lethbridge PAW Society but who now have comfortable, happy homes to call their own. Each of these cats were featured in PAW’s 2019 calendar, showing off the good that comes from people graciously donating to the society and providing foster homes for the abandoned cats.
About PAW Society: PAW (People for Animal Welfare) is based in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, and has been arranging the adoption of homeless cats since 2000. It is a non-profit society in the Province of Alberta and a Registered Canadian Charity.
