PAW Calendar Cat of the Month, Barnaby
Barnaby definitely knew how to work the humans. If we wanted photos of him, it required a lot of snacks! Once the treats came out, he was happy to dance for us. He could have danced all day if the ham didn’t run out. Barnaby has such neat colouring in that he’s nearly symmetrical other than the splatter of black on his nose and chin!
About this project: In the summer of 2018 I had the honour of photographing 12 adorable cats who once belonged to the Lethbridge PAW Society but who now have comfortable, happy homes to call their own. Each of these cats were featured in PAW’s 2019 calendar, showing off the good that comes from people graciously donating to the society and providing foster homes for the abandoned cats.
About PAW Society: PAW (People for Animal Welfare) is based in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, and has been arranging the adoption of homeless cats since 2000. It is a non-profit society in the Province of Alberta and a Registered Canadian Charity.
