PAW Calendar Cat of the Month, Roxy
This is not my first time photographing Roxy as she was featured in the calendar a few years ago, but we added a little twist this year: catnip! We had no idea how excitedly she would react to it, but she did not disappoint. Her kitty zoomies really showed off her gorgeous yellow big eyes.
About this project: In the summer of 2017 I had the honour of photographing 12 adorable cats who once belonged to the Lethbridge PAW Society but who now have comfortable, happy homes to call their own. Each of these cats were featured in PAW’s 2018 calendar, showing off the good that comes from people graciously donating to the society and providing foster homes for the abandoned cats.
About PAW Society: PAW (People for Animal Welfare) is based in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, and has been arranging the adoption of homeless cats since 2000. It is a non-profit society in the Province of Alberta and a Registered Canadian Charity.
