PAW Calendar Cat of the Month, Samoa
Samoa is so endearing! I laughed so much at his adorable playtime session his humans started in order to warm him up for photos. Any doubts he had about me visiting were quickly forgotten when his favorite toys were pulled out. He instantly went into full out hunting mode, prowling on the floor with his bum in the air and swinging wildly for the toy. His blue eyes really stood out with how alert he was!
About this project: In the summer of 2016 I had the honor of photographing 14 adorable cats who once belonged to the Lethbridge PAW Society but who now have comfortable, happy homes to call their own. Each of these cats were featured in PAW’s 2017 calendar, showing off the good that comes from people graciously donating to the society and providing foster homes for the abandoned cats.
He caught it!
I thought this out-take was so funny. He looks so put off that the toy is touching him!
Eventually his hunting got a little lazier.
