Adorable Outdoor Chihuahua Portraits [Super Nova]
When I told friends I was off to take adorable outdoor chihuahua portraits of a three legged dog named Super Nova, they said I had to be lying. It was too much cute for one photo session!
Nova very recently became a tripod dog, but she’s so young and bright it took her no time at all to get used to; you’d think she’s known this since birth! She zoomed around, jumped up on rocks, and eagerly sniffed for gophers at a faster speed than most four legged dogs. She is such a tiny sweet girl… so tiny she makes the wild clovers look like huge flowers. There were a few grassy spots we tried photos and had to move her because she got lost in the foliage!
Aperture Park in west Lethbridge was a hit with Super Nova who loved all the new smells! Most of the little paths we put her on are created by other small animals like mice and gophers, plus some not so small animals like deer. She zoomed around in circles in between every picture :)
She’s still spring loaded!
I love that she runs with her tongue sticking out EVERY time!
Super Nova’s grandma bought her a cute little purple tutu to cover up her shaved bum until her hair grows back. Purple is definitely her colour!
Want photos of your four legged (or three legged) friend? Give me a shout and we’ll set up a session!
