PAW Calendar Cat of the Month, Bowie
Bowie is definitely the ruler of her house! Even with a stranger present taking her photos, she casually strutted around like I wasn’t there and went about her very important kitty business. She’s very outgoing and confident and definitely seems to love people!
About this project: In the summer of 2016 I had the honor of photographing 14 adorable cats who once belonged to the Lethbridge PAW Society but who now have comfortable, happy homes to call their own. Each of these cats were featured in PAW’s 2017 calendar, showing off the good that comes from people graciously donating to the society and providing foster homes for the abandoned cats.
She greeted me the moment I came in the door so we started out her portraits there :)
Like I said, there was very important kitty business to attend to!
Bowie received a grooming session from her dad to encourage her to sit on the couch. It briefly worked! :)
She may have a perfectly good water bowl, but the BEST tasting water is from the watering can.
