PAW Calendar Cat of the Month, Murphy
Murphy was such a great cat to meet! He looks like a big, tough tomcat when in reality he is a big softy who loves attention and cuddles. It was hard to pry him away from his mom’s lap, as well as my own lap, to get photos of him. He was very curious about what we were doing which made it easy to photograph him in many different places… wherever you went, he would follow!
About this project: In the summer of 2014 I had the honor of photographing 13 adorable cats who once belonged to the Lethbridge PAW Society but who now have comfortable, happy homes to call their own. Each of these cats were featured in PAW’s 2015 calendar, showing off the good that comes from people graciously donating to the society and providing foster homes for the abandoned cats.
About PAW Society: PAW (People for Animal Welfare) is based in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, and has been arranging the adoption of homeless cats since 2000. It is a non-profit society in the Province of Alberta and a Registered Canadian Charity.
