PAW Calendar Cat of the Month, Kiri
Kiri was very shy for her calendar photoshoot, but thanks to her inquisitive nature was curious enough about the camera to still capture a few poses! From the safety of the furniture in her home, she cautiously observed me while her non-PAW kitty siblings eagerly followed me around, hoping it was time for their photos soon too! Kiri’s mom Joan is an important volunteer for PAW and dedicates many hours to the organization.
About this project: In the summer of 2014 I had the honor of photographing 13 adorable cats who once belonged to the Lethbridge PAW Society but who now have comfortable, happy homes to call their own. Each of these cats were featured in PAW’s 2015 calendar, showing off the good that comes from people graciously donating to the society and providing foster homes for the abandoned cats.
About PAW Society: PAW (People for Animal Welfare) is based in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, and has been arranging the adoption of homeless cats since 2000. It is a non-profit society in the Province of Alberta and a Registered Canadian Charity.
