PAW Calendar Cat of the Month, Josie
Josie is such a sweet kitty! She was one of the more difficult to photograph for the calendar because she kept wanting to cuddle me instead of stay in one place for a pose, and excitedly rolled around exposing her tummy for belly rubs while purring ferociously.
About this project: In the summer of 2014 I had the honor of photographing 13 adorable cats who once belonged to the Lethbridge PAW Society but who now have comfortable, happy homes to call their own. Each of these cats were featured in PAW’s 2015 calendar, showing off the good that comes from people graciously donating to the society and providing foster homes for the abandoned cats.
About PAW Society: PAW (People for Animal Welfare) is based in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, and has been arranging the adoption of homeless cats since 2000. It is a non-profit society in the Province of Alberta and a Registered Canadian Charity.
