PAW Calendar Cat of the Month, Atticus
It was such a pleasure working with PAW again for their 2015 calendar! January’s cat was Atticus, who was adopted with his mom Roxy from the rescue. They are a funny pair as Atticus is about twice the size of his mother, making her look like the younger one! Atticus was all about playing and getting into trouble so he had a lot of personality that came through in his photos.
About this project: In the summer of 2014 I had the honor of photographing 13 adorable cats who once belonged to the Lethbridge PAW Society but who now have comfortable, happy homes to call their own. Each of these cats were featured in PAW’s 2015 calendar, showing off the good that comes from people graciously donating to the society and providing foster homes for the abandoned cats.
“But I see birds!”
Their eyes went to where the treats were :)
About PAW Society: PAW (People for Animal Welfare) is based in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, and has been arranging the adoption of homeless cats since 2000. It is a non-profit society in the Province of Alberta and a Registered Canadian Charity.
