PAW Calendar Cat of the Month, Lucy!
I already featured a sneak peak of Lucy, the PAW fundraiser calendar cat for the month of May, but now it’s her time to shine!
Lucy was definitely the boss in their house, constantly running in front of Chuck to make sure she was getting first choice of the treats and attention. Despite being in control, she was such a sweet, friendly kitty and loves humans even though she spent time on the street in her past.
About this project: In the spring of 2013 I had the honor of photographing 13 adorable cats who once belonged to the Lethbridge PAW Society but who now have comfortable, happy homes to call their own. Each of these cats were featured in PAW’s 2014 calendar, showing off the good that comes from people graciously donating to the society and providing foster homes for the abandoned cats.
Lucy was so inquisitive about everything. I love how alert she was with her big blue eyes!
Lucy’s favorite spot is in her little basket. I didn’t think she’d fit, but like a true cat, she managed to cram right in! :)
I’m not sure how happy Chuck is with Lucy’s energy, but he puts up with it ;)
