PAW Calendar Cat of the Month, Panda!
Panda had the honor of being the Lethbridge PAW Calendar February kitty! (It was fitting that he is my favorite coloring of cat and was chosen for my birthday month!) You can tell from the photos that Panda is VERY outgoing and full of personality. He was one of the trickier cats to photograph because he wouldn’t stop chasing me and checking out what my camera was about. Posing for photos was NOT part of his plan… he wanted to tell me stories and get cuddles! Luckily this same personality meant he kept rolling around for attention, and each time I would quickly snap a bunch of photos.
About this project: In the spring of 2013 I had the honor of photographing 13 adorable cats who once belonged to the Lethbridge PAW Society but who now have comfortable, happy homes to call their own. Each of these cats were featured in PAW’s 2014 calendar, showing off the good that comes from people graciously donating to the society and providing foster homes for the abandoned cats.
He had a calm moment when I first arrived, when he had to check out if I was safe or not.
Already telling me stories!
This window view was his favorite spot and we had to return to it a few times.
Why aren’t you petting me?
Panda needed to relax for a moment after all that running around!
I love how vibrant his eyes are.
Time for some more rolly time!
